About the Author

Ginny Wacker Guido has been active in legal and ethical issues in nursing for the past 30 years. She developed an interest in this area of nursing when teaching undergraduate nursing students in Houston, Texas, and this excitement for further knowledge and understanding of this content area encouraged her to pursue a doctor of jurisprudence degree. Over the years, she has attended multiple workshops and conferences, updating and expanding her knowledge base regarding both the legal and ethical aspects of nursing practice. Dr Guido also continues to publish and present on legal and ethical issues with special emphasis in a variety of clinical practice settings. She remains active in nursing education and is currently employed as the Regional Director for Nursing and Assistant Dean, College of Nursing, Washington State University Vancouver.

Good book missing pages needed for assignment

This is being used as a textbook for a graduate class. It is written on an interesting manner with lots of case studies.

Now that I am at the end of the course, I see the last 2 chapters are missing. Others complained chapter 3 was missing, which I have, but chapters 21 & 22 are missing. I bought 2 versions, the 2014 and the 2010 both have the same missing chapters. i need these chapters to complete my assignment.

if you have to buy this book, check it out as soon as you get it.

Encouragement & Enlightenment from a Masterful & Insightful Teacher

Elder David A. Bednar is such a masterful and insightful teacher! Before I read this book, I thought I had a decent understanding of the Atonement of the Savior Jesus Christ. Within the first chapter, I was amazed at how much more the Spirit taught me about the purpose and strength that comes from the Atonement and how to apply that to encourage me to stretch a little farther and try a little harder with the knowledge that I will succeed. I liked how Elder Bednar stressed specific words in scripture verses that I'd skimmed over before, giving emphasis which helped me truly ponder what my Heavenly Father expects of me and helps me to become. The quotes and scriptures, images and stories Elder Bednar shares inspired me, and now that I know there are two other books, I will be looking for them as well. The book itself would have been enough, but I love the feature of the QR codes that link to video discussions.

Wonderful for a stay-at-home mom

I used to be a preschool teacher in my former life (i.e. before I became a mom!), and when my toddlers reached the age of 2.5, I decided I needed a formal teaching curriculum. When I say "formal," I mean one that was structured but could also be adapted to a parent's limited-resource situation.

This book has been all of that and more. Each activity through the day is listed (from Circle Time through Assessment), as well as recommended books and materials. The subjects are as varied as one could want - from outer space to holidays to nature. I found that with most lessons, even if I didn't have the materials or books, I could usually supplement what we had in our craft box and/or bookshelf to make the theme work. I'd definitely recommend this one.

Great for moms!

This book is awesome! I'm a stay-at-home mom with an almost 3 year old. I own other activity books, such as the Busy Book, but this enormous one tops them all! Yes, it's intended for teachers but the daily "lesson plan" structure is extremely helpful for moms who like to do several activities each day with your kids. And to have it organized all nice and neat in one big book... it's great. Better than Pinterest. Each day has a theme and explores five or more regions of playful learning, such as Art, Sensory, Dramatic (pretend) play, Small & Gross Motor, Literacy, Writing, Math, Science, etc, depending on the day. Also listed are a selection of books to read for that day and a snack idea.

I'm just starting to get into this book and absolutely loving it. This is just what I've been looking for. If you're a mom who likes to keep your child(ren) engaged in play & activity instead of entertained by screens & TV, this book will be your best friend. It's very accessible and just an enormous mound of ideas.

tip: Try to buy it used. I got a copy in great condition for a fraction of the 'new' price (and still qualified for free super saver shipping). My copy was listed as Good condition - it seems only slightly used, much better than I was expecting! Thank you Amazon!

Excellent Resource

This is a great resource for students like me trying to get their teaching degree. It's full of great lesson plans perfect for early childhood education. I tried a couple with my three-year-old son and he had a blast! So did I. Highly recommend this for any student teacher or current teacher.

Rating condition of product, not the story.

This review is of the copy I got, not the content of the story. The description was posted as used-good. It said nothing about the vast amount of water damage, yellow pages and stamps and stickers covering the book. I was not happy with my purchase and was not able to contact the seller. Be very careful of buying this manga as it is out of print and most copies will be in the same condition.

The story, however, was great. I was happy with the way it ended, even though it did leave a little more to be desired. But all in all, she did a great job of wrapping up the series. For those of you who don't know, there was an additional chapter written but not printed as an epilogue. It takes place a few years after kagome returns and you can find it online. One manga is a good source to read anime online if it helps :)
